Darius McGlory

My name is Darius and I have been with Damascus for 9 years. My journey with Damascus began after a divorce several years ago. Damascus gave me a group of men to do life with while God did a reconstruction on my life. I believe that God has called me to do whatever is necessary for men to encounter Christ.

Outside of Damascus, I am a physical therapist. I have a beautiful wife, Anndee, and a wonderful son, Riley. I enjoy cycling, running, and weight training.

seaton lynn propicHello, my name is Lynn and I have been attending Damascus for about 9 years. I have seen Damascus grow from a small bible study on the Canal to an organization that reaches a man’s heart at many levels. Damascus has forever changed me to want to chase after God’s heart and to help other men by being an encourager by word and example.

My three adult children are married and they have blessed me with several grandchildren.

I enjoy many outdoor activities, but I am always challenged to put God first in everything.

giles don propicMy name is Don and I discovered this VERY cool group of men about a year ago. At the time that I first heard about the Damascus Men's group, I had been looking for such a group for about 7 yrs. What I was looking for was a safe place - a safe place where I could be comfortable just being me - with no need to feel like I had to put on any acts - a place that was safe to grow and do life with other guys who had a similar desire. I count the discovery of the Damascus Men's ministries as one of the greatest discoveries of my Christian Journey.

I am a business man who helps people through consulting and management.

My wife and I have 6 children and are all learning to find our place in God's Kingdom and live there with joy and fulfillment.

hyde lance propicMy name is Lance Hyde. I have been with Damascus for 9 years.

Damascus has been what I have been looking for all my life - a band of brothers, of Christ-centered men, living life together.

I'm am currently the leader of the Fort Worth chapter of Damascus. My passion is leading me to understand fully, who they are, and what purpose God has called them to.

I live in Texas with my wife Carrie and young son Noah. I'm retired from 18 years in the food service industry. Currently I am a stay at home dad devoting all my time to developing DMC Ft Worth. Other ministries I have worked with are: Hand Up in Oklahoma City where I served as the on campus chaplain and councilor to ex-convicted felons for 6 years. I enjoy out door activities like paintball, hiking and camping, I also love riding my Harley.

My life verse is James 1:1-4.

My life chapter is Isaiah 61.

morris brandon propicMy name is Brandon Morris and I’ve been with Damascus since the beginning 9 years ago. I remember this vividly as it was the same year that God rescued me from a lifestyle of partying, drugs, and addiction! The founder of Damascus Darius McGlory and I met at Oasis, the very same outreach ministry where I was saved. I didn’t know it at the time, but God had totally set me up from the start with my new best friend and mentor Darius! Through the men of Damascus, God has revolutionized my life and I have realized my true identity. Damascus to me is a band of brothers that pursue and come along side other men to create an encounter with Christ. These brothers walk through the tough times, endure the pain, and press on to victory and freedom side by side.

Outside of Damascus, I am a consultant for a real estate technology company. I am also an avid triathlete who loves fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.

neece brad propicMy name is Brad and I have been a part of Damascus for four years, and on the leadership team for about three years. The relationships that I have made with these men in the last few years have been a tremendous blessing to me and have greatly bolstered my walk with Christ. My God-given purpose is to encourage others to be closer to God by boldly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I work for Aspen Roofing as a salesman.

I enjoy writing, public speaking, reading, working out (not always), Thunder basketball, and going to the movies.

stotts frank propicMy name is Frank. I have been with Damascus for about 9 incredible years. They are incredible because I have learned that I am not alone and don't have to live this life in my own strength. My life has been changed as a result of learning to let Christ live in me and through me. For me it's been a journey of experience, strength, and hope, empowered by the Holy Spirit, who reveals truth and proclaims freedom to the captives. Jesus is my Savior.

I love my family, friends, and my church.

Professionally I have been in technology for about 10 years.
